About the Web Developer position

We are looking for a Ruby on Rails Developer to be a core part of our development team.


Responsibilities

  • Writing clean, maintainable and efficient code
  • Designing robust, scalable and secure features
  • Work in a fast-paced collaborative and agile environment
  • Core member of the development team reporting into CTO

Skills & Experience

  • Experience with Ruby on Rails or similar (Java, Python etc.)
  • Solid front-end knowledge including as JavaScript, HTML, CSS and JQuery (Responsive Design and/or Bootstrap a bonus)
  • Understanding of relational databases, preferably MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
  • Experience utilising various API’s in applications
  • Preferable: experience designing and writing API services
  • Understanding of Object Oriented Programming
  • Understanding of the Model View Controller (MVC) Framework
  • Experience of using GitHub
